Het Dreupelkot
I love this place....It is a specialty of Gent. The man makes small shots of liqueur flavored with all kinds of things. I had a pomegranate. You lean over and sip it while it sits on the bar.
Endive Soup
Kind of a cafeteria type place. The soup was not for mew, but they put all kinds of things in it afterwards, if you want...cheese, sausage, croutons, ect...

We toured the castle. This is not quiet my thing. They did have some interesting artifacts.
Gorgeous Bread Store
The brown bread is really good in Belgium. There are very few baguettes, more hearty loaves with grains.

Check This out!
On the lkast day, I set off early to take pics...the sky was blue and the shadows were long. I only had about 45 minutes.
I came upon this building that was gutted, but they are saving the facade. It's old and beautiful. I wish I could have taken better pics of it. I would have needed a ladder or a crane to get up higher.
