Lunch under Pressure

The road to Lucca from Vinci winds back and forth through vineyards and olive groves...It was getting late, It was Sunday, we needed to have luch. We kept passing places that were closed....
Finially we got to a cross roads and came upon this great restaurant...L'Indicatore.

We were SO happy to have these salads for a change. We split everything. A great lunch was had by all.

One town we went through was filled with dachunds. Look at the face on this one. 
We saw 2 others and a man was letting more outside. This town was right on the road, but it was a sort of dead end. I think it was called Ste Agathe.
This woman came out...she was so sweet and friendly.

Off to Vinci

Birthplace of Leonardo Da Vinci...another touchstone place for me.
Also, the geography is a bit different. It is a really lovely area.

We left Florence on Sunday but not before having breakfast on the terrace. The light was beautiful.
