The People

Everyone was so nice.

This is the couple from La Tina....He sis all of the talking...she was as quiet as a mouse.

B in the foreground and her husband John. I love them both.

Mother and Daughter from the Vineyard

Son in Law....SUPER nice guy. I think he runs the vineyard. He is a physicist.

see that look....she and I did not like each other...it was like this from the start.

B. had told me that they were invited to drive down to this Vineyard to have lunch. I didn't realize all of the connections and I tried to beg off. I ended up going as B did not want to cancel me out...the people had made lunch for 5...so, I went. It was WAY TOO FAR to take a leisurely drive . I droive my car as I thought I could escape early. We left at 12....They had everything ready the minute we got there.

I have to say the people and the place were all lovely.

Some type of ricotta tart with porcini mushrooms...really good.

The next day, John and I went to find the olympic swimmer...a man that lives in Barga that is an interesting character. I am so interested in photographing interesting older men...perhaps it's a father thing...in search of...

This man is very sarcastic. He is also a prolific painter and a swim coach. He also owns a private tavern in Barga. He was not cooperating and rushed me to finish. I got some good pics...I will put them on the blog soon. I gave John the little camera so he could document.
