The Market in The Old Days
The Auray Market
It was all seafood and bread. There were a few butcher counters off to the side and they were completely without customers....A wealth of food.
Bonita
I think this in Morue...really ugly ( salt cod)
flounder
Marché in Auray on a grey day.
crabs galore.
9am last day in Auray
Some last shots of Rhuy's area.
Just a little summer castle
All over this area are trees with these round nests in them. They are so pretty and look like they are decorated.
Cesar's Mound
This is actually a Tumulus but I like the idea of Cesar standing a top this hill watching the defeat of the Veneti in 56BC in the sea in front of him.
A little hike around the promontory off Port Crouesty
In the middle is a tumulus, an ancient burial chamber. There are trails you can walk all around...you can see how grey it is. It was still beautiful.
