I am happy to say that my French appears to be getting better. I am now able to hear what people are saying . I am able to carry on a conversation...but only when it's not rushed . I have a far way to go , but I feel like in getting somewhere. I also ask for correction...and people are so nice to ablige.
The weather has been beautiful...there are so many flowers blooming. The lilac bush behind the house is blooming. There are irises everywhere. It's is extremely beautiful down on the river walk. We go early in the morning..8:30 or 9. I try to avoid a troublesome beagle and his father. The blue flax on long legs are blooming. I have to get down there to shoot them.
The water in the sea is 15 centigrade. This is the perfect time here. The crowds have not arrived and it is cold when you are not in the sun.
The spring and summer vegetables are back...the black tomatoes, my favorite and the Italian potato that I love " Spunta" .
Shooting pomegranates for a client tomorrow. I found 2 really big ones.
I need to get on my bike on the promenade.
My next trip is in 2 weeks to Amsterdam and south for the tulips. Then Tuscany after that, mid may.
