What a lovely place! The family used to live in my friend B's apartment/Palazzo in Barga...the girls ( and there are 3) grew up there. The story is, is that the parents were always traveling and absent, and the girls ran wild. Olivia is one of the girls. She turned out great. She told a story how she and her sister's would get in by 11pm, their curfew...say good night and then sneak out an hour later. Sounds familiar. One time, they took the train to London...none of them spoke English.
They bought this vineyard about 12 years ago. It came with a broken down house. They fixed the whole thing up and hope to make it into an agriturismo, but it's impossible with the bureaucracy in Italy. What a shame.
