Do you think it's good luck IF

You make up and there is a lizard in your bed?
I was a bit freaked out by this. I don't like anything that creeps or slides or is generally secretive.
During the day, I leave the sliding glass door in the bedroom open...but now, I am afraid to.  There was some screaming when this little creature was captured and flung out a window.

Good luck, perhaps? I am talking it as a good ( but creepy)  omen.

My Happy Girl

Ohhhh..the sun, the tall grasses, the wind.  I love my life!

The old girl is still spunky!

Beautiful Morning at Le Paperie

This place is about 8k from my house. There are many big dogs being walked here so I have to keep Emile on the leash. There are all kinds of wild flowers growing.

# 1 of 350 French Cheeses SALERS

Salers....S. had not even heard of this cheese. I found it at the supermarche. I was looking for something obscure.
It was excellent, we loved it. It is a raw cow milk cheese.
Salers is in the department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne.

It is famous for the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) cheeses Cantal and Salers. It is also famous for the Salersbreed of cattle that originated in this commune.
It was pillaged by Rodrigo de Villandrando in the late 1430s, during the final phase of the Hundred Years' War.

Cous Cous for lunch at San Marina Restaurant in the marina.

This was not my idea. If it was, there would be shrimp involved with this. They bring out these 2 chicken legs ( ick...in French they call dark meat maroon...you have your white meat and your maroon meat. ) You mix a spicy cayenne paste with the soupy vegetable stew in the tureen...The vegetables are turnips and carrots and zucchini. Then you pour it over the cous cous.
I did not like this at all, but I had to eat it.
