Seafood Dinner with 4 Gentleman

The owner of the restaurant asked me if I wanted to come to dinner at the restaurant that had refused me. I said yes, bit U thought he would just get me in and that I would eat by myself. When I arrived, they were waiting for me. I think they had already had one bottle of white wine.
I watched the experts order and show me about the various dishes. I tried the red mullet and it was good...kind of chewy like monk fish. I think they have been eating it since they were children. zI tried a raw mussel...it seems wrong to me for some reason so I passed on all other mussels but their clams "Arselle" are very good. The raw tuna was outstanding.  We split the raw food.
we started with osiers and clans....the eat raw mussels...
In the foreground was the pasta of the man next to me.He was from Lake Como and did not eat raw seafood.

Maurizo reminded me of Kurt Vonnegut..who, he had never heard of.

My favorite, tuna tartare and Carpaccio...excellante!

One of the men had this seafood combo.

Vongle...unneessary. I should have stuck to straight seafood, no pasta.

Red Mullet

an expert, cleaning the red mullet.

settling up.
