In the hills, near the sea, above Mandelieu, the mimosas bloom en mass on the hills. Many people go up and hike the trails at this time. The color is incredible, as you can see.
To get there, I have to take the highway...and I have no change...and then when I got to the tollbooth, it didn't take paper euro...and not one of my cards worked. This is one of my fears...being on the highway and not having enough "monnie" or coins. The nice woman came out and broke a 5 for me. I was lucky...Always have plenty of coins when taking the highway.
