Did I mention

There are allergens the size of goose feathers? I turned down a side road...looking to get lost. This is about 30k north of Modena. The trees are covered in white flowers that become like floating confetti.
This road led to a kind of local fishing spot with a restaurant and camping. It was completely empty because of the white fluff everywhere.
It's really beautiful but everyone is hacking ...including me.
This is everywhere here...in the towns too.
I'm told these are Poplar Trees and they help reduce white truffles.

It's almost like snow.

I stopped the car and started a whirlwind.

This is free floating fluff, like feathers....pretty, but not good for breathing.

Fluff filled grass.

an Italian grandfather and his granddaughter on a bike didn't mind being in the wooly wonderland. It wail be a nice memory for her.
