Off to Luxembourg

Got up at about 5:30...really couldn't sleep. Got my over packing together and headed out. The sunrise was incredibly beautiful. There was frost on the car. My small cameras battery was buried so I missed pics on the beautiful sunrise.
I was fearful all day yesterday of the storms and worried about flying. Sometimes I am hyper aware of how beautiful everything is thinking that this is the last time I will see them. I felt this way about the sunrise. I felt this way about how excited I was to be going on a new adventure to a new place.

Something was bound to go wrong. I get into the terminal at the airport. It is completely empty. I find Lux Air all the way at the end of the  terminal. The woman can't find me on the flight. I booked vis E Dreams....she said...no wonder. Luckily, there was avery nice man who worked on technical booking stuff that went out of his way to help me. He got me a RT for the same price at E Dreams one way...and I think I can use the other keg for going to Berlin! ( I am flying easy Jet home) I don't know what happened, but i didn't stress and it worked out. Thank you, Thank you.
I made it to the gate, had a minute to get a US Vanity Fair and a W Mag with George Clooney on the cover. How happy I was! i took the little bus out to the tint plane and climbed into the fuselage.
Again, no pics, no battery. I had a nice chat in French with a nice couple...we traded seats around. The plane was one seat on the left and 2 on the right...only about 20 rows.
At one point, the cockpit cabin door was wide open. I could see the blue sky ahead of us. You never see that anymore.
The view was incredible, over the Alps, It didn't even look real it was so beautiful, with the snow and wispy clouds. We got to  point where all you could see what white flat clouds and blue sky above. A jet was passing us, throwing on grey contrails, looking like it was gliding along on the snow.
It was a bit of a bumpy landing in Luxembourg...a ver small and very empty airport.
Again, I was very excited to be somewhere new.
I saw the sweetest thing. While on the little navette to the terminal, I watched the older French couple that I was talking with on the plane in an intimate moment. The husband was sitting an not getting his scarf right. His wife, who was standing, came over and lovingly arranged his scarf, like he was a little boy. He just beamed. So sweet.

30 euro for a cab in to Luxembourg or 2 euro for the bus. I chose the bus. The bus driver practically held my hand, showing me where exactly to go. I checked into my hotel early, left my bags and headed toward the market.
