Here is the currency in France in coin form.
I show this as it's a constant fight to differentiated 2's from 5's, 20's from 50's and sometimes 2's from 1's. I have so many of the copper coins, I need to find a way to get rid of them. They do have machines that you can pour them into. Often, a cashier will ask for such and such a centime...so you use them. I try to use the goldish ones for tolls. The highways do not take the coppers.
I like the 1's and 2's. I prefer them to the bills that we have in the States....
I was recently at the post office. I paid the exact amount. My sweet postal man ( about 4' tall with big mustache) had to pick up the coins and look at them closely to see which denomination they are...same with the gas station. It's not only me having problems with these tiny coins.
The US quarter is just a smidge smaller than the 2 euro piece.
