past St Roch.

Christmas Fete de Le Rouret

This is the second year that I have gone to this. It's really the best that I have been to in the area. It was packed.
They cancelled it at first due to security concerns, but then changed their minds. They must have been very happy they did change their mind.
We did have the Gendarme with big new guns....

Some Hot Mulled Wine and a wink.

The Other Band.

I have seen this band before in Opio last year. They were especially animated yesterday. They sang that Mexican song...Eye Yie Yie Yie....so everyone was able to sing along. What fun.

This man smokes and plays at the same time.

Eye Yie Yie Yie!

E learns a dance.

Ellen did such a great job learning the Provencal dance. I had this parter for the dance before...luckily it was an easier dance for me. I thought for sure Ellen had been taught traditional dances as a child in Belgium...but no, she told me that most of the festivities involved beer drinking...no dancing.
She and her husband have taken dancing classes though. It was fun!

French Table mates.

Willing to go along with my craziness!
