Bingo / Lotto

It was suggested that I go to this event in La Colle to find some new subjects for the portrait project.......It is basically, Bingo.
It was in the sports auditorium. I got a little dressed up as I had no idea as to what this would be like.
When you enter, you buy cards...I bought 2 for 12 euro.
I sat with some people I knew and some people that I didn't know.
This was a very good exercise for me to work with numbers.
French numbers are confounding... to get to 70, you have to have 60 plus 10...to get 80, you get 4 20'sto get 90's, you get 4 20's and a 10.
For me, there is always a delay in understanding numbers.
How nice it was for me that everyone at the table was double checking my numbers. ...a couple of times I was close to winning.
If you won, it was big prizes, Tv's and bicycles and stuff. Everytime someone won, and they would yell out, there was a big collective OOOOHHHHHH through the crowd. Had I won, I would have passed the gifts on to the table. I didn't want to win. Had I won, I would have screamed BINGO!
That would be the only reason I would want to win.
