3 hour Hike..to Secret Olive Grove

Flowers are starting to pop. I have been letting Emile off the leash in safe places. He runs as fast as he can the minute he gets off. I think he goes too far and it worries me, but I love to see him run free.
We heard horses whinnying, wood peckers working away, saw boar tracks and snout holes.
Here I come Mom!
Kate every disgusting thing she could find and then rolled in it. There were tiny violets starting to pop. It is a gorgeous day...perfect temperature. There was a lot of mud. I almost slipped and fell a few times in my short wellies. We didn't see a soul. We also found a new trail that we will try next time. Everyone is exhausted.

I love this!

Secret Olive Grove.

Love to find these old cars that nature has absorbed.

North east toward pre alps

Looking south east toward the sea.

The newer olive grove lives across the dirt road from the secret olive grove.

a nice schmere on her face.

The dirty hunter.

Note how the boars rip up all of the ground looking for grubs and tubers.

A snout hole.
