I made an appointment with a chiropractor today. Yet another challenge for me.
My first bobble was missing the appointment. It was set for 13h and for some reason I thought it was for 15. He was able to fit me in. I had never been to this part of Nice before in the car. ( It's the purple marker) All of the red markers are possible parking garages. All of the streets are one way, so you have to hit it right. After being all nervous about it, it turned out that it was very near the big shopping street , which, I know, well. I parked in # 2...Nice Etoile, a mall. I rant to the appointment after I figured out the streets.
There was a complicated buzzer system to get in. Once I go in, sorted the floor and voila, I was in the empty doctors office. It was a big office with a very fancy waiting room, but completely empty. The doctor came out and I am guessing, he was about 28 years old. He does not speak English which is perfect for me. I had already gone over sentences with my French teacher earlier in the day.
I think I did pretty well. He was very patient with me.
It's funny that in French there are little words that are used...more like sounds...one is Tack....I am not sure I can explain..I can't think of an English word that would be similar. You say it when something is completed like "there" ...Tack, Tack, ...and Oopla! is another.
Perhaps my friend J. can explain.
I was also told to inspirer and ......souffle, breathe in, breathe out.
Is this not a great way to learn French?
I have a pinched tendon in my épaule ( my shoulder.)
I went to a cafe on Alfonse Carr and had a cappuccino inn the sun. I walked by this Russian Church. The light was so beautiful. Nice is just gorgeous. Am I not the luckiest person alive?
