Since my Garagiste does not speak any English...and I don't know all of the car words in French, he has to be creative to show me what needs to be done. Here is his little drawing for me.
You've got your car...the front indicated by an arrow. The brakes on the front have "plaquettes" which I think are brake pads. The back have " Tambours" ( or something like that) .
I did not fill up the brake fluid in time ( how was I to know? there was no indicator light!) ...so the Tambours were running without fluid and it may have screwed up one of the cylinders in the left back brake...see the little drawing on top to represent the cylinder and the fluid.
This is a way I have found to get through life living in a foreign country...whatever it takes!
The car felt funny...more like a tank to drive than usual. It has been a long time since the car broke down so I am nervous that it is about to happen again. Glad I brought it in.
