When I got back to the min
road, if that’s what you want to call it. , I decided to drive into the
weather. North was very dark and foggy. I found the spot where I had shot the
irises the evening before. The irises were beaten down by the rain, but the fog
was incredible. Here are some shots with the point and shoot.
I was so excited by what I
was shooting that at one point, I backed right up into a stone barrier and put
another crunch in the car bumper. I had to pull the plastic out so that it
wasn’t rubbing against the tire. Note how wet the car got inside when I would
roll the window down to shoot something.
There was a copse of tall
pines that photographed beautifully as well as the little barn ( can you see
it) and the trees in the fog. That was a really beautiful spot.
Included in this group is the
cross from an alpine meadow that I have been to before. You could not see the
meadow or the mountains that are in front of it. You couldn’t see a thing.
