I drove to the town on Manosque today to buy a car. It's about 2 and a half hours away, in Provence, above Aix. It is a sweet little town. I was early so I had lunch. Note the symbol is the 4 hands.
It is the birthplace of Jean Giono! Horseman on The Roof! A wonderful film from a great book with Juliette Binoche anf the gorgeous Olivier Martinez. See it if you have not. The story is about the time of the plague and there is a big chase scene over the rooftops in Manosque.

The French give you a big spoon with pasta. The Italians are appalled by the big spoon. I didn't use it as a lover of all Italian.
