Corn on the cob, preferably white or yellow and white.
I found this at the extra special grocer. The supermarket has ears of corn but they are stripped, and then shrink wrapped...for extra toughness. I was so happy to see a few ears at the local store. I spoke to the woman about the corn in the US, in French. She smiled a lot, she was probably thinking I'm silly.
This ear was yellow, but OK.
Here is it's 15 minutes, presented on a pillow, discussed and then eaten.
Well, even if it's hard to find ... at least you can take comfort in the fact that the corn isn't GMO. It's outlawed in France. Impossible to escape in the US.
