We drove north in a long caravan of cars and finally we found the right spot. It was crowded. At this point, Kate was looking a little weak after our uphill trek. There were many tiny crocus in this spot. We must go back.
All the people that we passed made a comment about Emile. I asked a man who was carrying a small dog about the "Patou",

the dogs that protect the sheep ( see the link) . I don't want to run into one of these dogs for fear of attack. People have warned me of this so I avoid taking the dogs to the Baou. He said no...not off this trail. So, we will go back.
It is kind of like the moon up in this area...rocky with scrub, a tree here and there. There are Ruines ( ruins) , old crumbled edifices made of stone.
