Late Afternoon Hike

Today, we went on late afternoon hike. We went on the same hike that I took K and S on when they were here. This is the same trail that Kate ate something and went on a psychadellic trip. I was very cautious with her. As spring has progressed, the bugs have gotten really thick. The newest flowers were all blue, salvia and anchusa. There was also a few wild pink gladiolas. I love this olive grove.  It is teeming with life of all sort. I saw a gigantic lizard ( 12" or so...big enough for me)  that was brilliant green. I was not quiet fast enough to get a picture of him. Little critters were darting left and right trying to get away from us as we walked through the field.
The view of the gorge, north is beautiful with all the new leaves on the trees. From the air, in an airplane, this gorge pronounced. It's very interesting  geographically. I wish I knew more.
