They've been setting up a big stage in the parking lot at the beginning of town. Can't wait to see this extravaganza and it's free. I wonder what songs they will sing. I went to see a Beatles cover band in Sonoma, everyone danced and they had a big BBQ. This will be different in everyday.
This got me thinking about The Beatles....my favorite was Paul, but then again, later on I really liked John.
It would be impossible to say my favorite Beatle song. I have a favorite from every period. I especially like the old 60s ones like PS I Love You, Love Me Do, Michelle, Yesterday, then later, Eleanor Rigby, She Said, Penny Lane, Cries For No One, ( theses are all Paul)
I love John singing country and all the emotional Paul songs after he left like Maybe I'm Amazed or The Two Of US, although I never liked Linda. I did like Wings.
I was a huge fan of Johns Double Fantasy, I love The Ballad of John and Yoko, Oh Yoko...but again, I was not crazy about Yoko. ( I did however have one of her albums at one time, maybe the one after John died.) I remember I was in Plattsburgh in the apartment that I shared with Tom on Brinkerhoff street when he was killed. I was very sad about it. It would be so great if he was still alive, making music and causing trouble still.
