Travel

The flight to Munich from Nice is 90 minutes. That's just so great. But, as always, there is travel drama. First, I leave the house early to get the dogs to the dog sitter. It's only 5 miles away, so I run there and come back to finish all that I have to do.
I get back and Madame L. is on my patio, sweeping. She thought I had left. I could tell she felt guilty when I pulled up. She just can't help herself . She always has to be cleaning. She had swept up a bunch of dirt and tried to brush it off by saying that I need to keep it clean. She's always hovering.
So I get past that and and take off to the airport. I had paid for the car to be in long term parking while I am gone. You get a code that you need to put into the entrance gate. This was a new garage and I went in the wrong gate...I parked, thought about it, worried and finally saw a man that worked there.min French I explained what I did. He told me that I had to go out and come back in another gate...so I did. It was hot, the time was passing.
I rushed to get to the terminal. When I got there, I couldn't find Lufthansa...it turns out Lufthansa is in Terminal 1... Another mistake...so I had to run to Terminal One...and it was far and it was hot. It took me 30 minutes to get there and I was was drenched at that point. Luckily I mad the flight, no problem.
For lunch they gave us a yellow blob of German potato salad that was topped with a breaded chicken cutlet with about 6 pretzels. Someone told me that they give the crappy food to the French ...as the Germans really don't like the French.
So I arrive at the airport, buy a tour book and a German SIM card . I ask instructions as to how to get into town...you walk out of,the terminal and there is a Biergarten right away. You buy your ticket for 12 euro and catch the train into Munich. It takes about 40 minutes. Then, you jump onto the tram, with the same ticket and get to the Hotel.  I was wilted from the travel, but I made it.
