Evening in Pontremoli.

Tonight I wandered out into the town with my little camera. Next time, I will remember to bring the big camera.
I went in search of somewhere to have dinner. It's very quiet here, so no worry about getting in for one person...as I have had problems with that in the past.
Doesn't Hotel Napoleon kind of look like a hospital?
I wandered around snapping pics...I saw the man making a silhouette in front of the lit up store...I shot the pic and the man starting coming at me...yelling to me in Italian...I told him, I don't speak Italian..
( I ask myself, Why don't I?)
He kept following me. I thought I had shook him off, but when I was shooting the benches in the yellow trees, he appeared on a bike, stopped in the middle of the street, took his shirt off and flexed his chest....wanting me to take a pic. He kept saying...thank you, thank you.
I managed to shake him but he appeared one more time when I was crossing the bridge.
I had a nice dinner

I loved this silhouette in front of this store..

It's fall, why don't I carry my big camera for shots like this?

Looking towards the old town.

Love this bench glowing in the car lights.

The owner wanted me to see the mushrooms that found today. The browns ones are Portofino...different look, different altitude. The yellow ones on the lest are my favorites...in France they are called Girolles ( something like that) they are very expensive ...39 euro a kilo...I put them in scrambles eggs.

local Pasta...like crepes, cut up Testoroni.
