Update

good guarded news this morning......no infection, no pain, so we wait. The Doctor was much more optimistic. I will go and bring a blanket with home smells on it for him as  suggested by my friend J. I agree with my friend A that I should not see him as I don't want to get him excited, he needs to rest and heal. Perhaps I will bring some chicken. 

I walked outside this morning in my nightgown and a lady bug landed on my heart. Ladybugs are good luck...I have seen many good signs that he will rally. Everything is so bright and beautiful, the wind, the river with it's bright green mossy seaweed, bounding puppies, the strong Mediterranean sun on the old white buildings in the square, big puffy clouds and the bright blue sea. All of this is waiting for the boy to come back to, plus his Mother that loves him and his sister that can't seem to know how to feel because he's not around.
