Christmas Lunch at Da Giggetto in The Jewish Ghetto

I thought I would try this restaurant as I was very hungry. I ate early because I thought I would be eating with a friend that was in Rome ( I never did hear from her) .
I went with the specialities...in this case, cod fish, which was very good and the fettucini with artichoke.  The artichoke sauce was ok, but I have never been crazy about artichoke like this.
I like when they deep fry the entire head of the artichoke and you eat it by pulling off the leaves. This is how they do it in the Jewish ghetto in Rome.
The service was excellent. It was nice, perhaps a bit lonely on Christmas.
This restaurant is right on the edge or an archeological site.
It may be kosher...all of the restaurants in the ghetto are kosher.
