The sea is at about 64 degrees, I am guessing that the river must be in the low 50's. There is snow up river.
Emile did not care. He was happy to swim again. I had to force him out as he just wanted to swim. There is a swim hole that is protected from the main river that is running dangerously fast. I had to watch him closely.
Also, he can't swim with the chest harness on as he almost got snagged a few times on branches. I would have ended up in the water too. Kate went in once and then no more.
