On this trip, I wanted to do some different things. I hd never been able to make it to this Palazzo/Museum before and it has always been too crowded. It is a very large and gaudy/gilted Palazzo filled with a massive art collection. It is the type of situation where the paintings are stacked up the wall, the old school way of showing paintings.
They have the amazing Velasquez's Pope Innocent....and some great Carvaggio's. It's an interesting place but very stuffy. You can't take pics and if they catch you, you have to leave...OR, you can pay 4 euro and get a photo pass. Not my favorite museum in Rome.
