S.invited me up to see his house ( that he built/remodeled) and to see his village where his ancestors come from in the 16th century. He knows a lot about his family background. is great grand mother was a Russian Princess!
He also grew up in Nice and his family is from this area. There is a book that his cousin wrote about his family with all kinds of interesting photos.
His house is lovely...lots of slate and stucco. sunken tub with balinese accents.
