Lavender Stand

I stopped at this little shop just outside Puimoisson. There was a very nice Cocker Spaniel that was guarding a small stone ( size of a quarter) . Somehow, he got the idea across that he wanted me to throw the stone for him...so he backed off and I did. Then he would go after it...but better than that, somehow he got me to know that he wanted me to throw the stone up high so he could jump to catch it in his mouth...which I did a few times. It was a bit disturbing to hear the stone hit the dogs teeth. I would look at the woman in the shop and she would smile just a little. She has probably seen this many times. How many people do you think play along with this game with the dog?
