Lunch in Le Palud

I pulled over in this little town to have lunch. When I parked, there was a traveling horse group that were walking their horses in the field next to this wheat field. I had never thought of letting your horses out for a rest stop when traveling.
I found a little Creperie in the town and decided to have lunch there.
It was pretty busy when I arrived. The man that ran the place was interesting. First of all there was Dalai Lama flags and posters all over the place.
However, the man looked painfully hung over. He had bed hair and looked like he just bounced up to serve the crowds. He was the only person that I saw that worked at this place.
You could tell how much he loved people, especially kids. He was chatting everyone up while drinking an espresso and smoking a cigarette. He was quite the character.
He corrected a few French words that I spoke in a very nice way. I appreciated it.
