I found this Thai restaurant . The waitress in red made me realize soemthing. Girls her age, for the most part, in France, have lost their politeness when it comes to people that don't speak French. Her generation would rather you just spoke English...she doesn't care if you are trying to speak french.
I would only speak French with her and she kept saying...WHAT?????? with an obnoxious look on her face...a look of incredulity. I have run into this many times now but I just realized that I am seeing a trend.
