Today, I went to Antibes to pick up some yarn. I like to go on Thursday as it is the market day there.
I had found this really basic dark blue shortish linen shirt dress. They sell out every week. Today, I was late again. They were all sold out except for one. It was a size 38 and I wear 40.
When I asked the man what size the last one was he said 38...then he looked at me, put his hands on either side of his "breasts", pushed them in and said, nicely...no...I fear your chest is too big, laughing a little.
So, I am thinking..is that a bad thing? He could have done the same thing with his rear end...and that would have been bad, yes? I can't imagine a man would think having a chest too big for a small size would be a bad thing.
Am I filing this under something amusing or under an insult?
I responded, laughing, "I know"....I have had this problem before.
The silver lining...this was all in French.
