Her chastity was questioned and was demanded to perform a miracle to prove her innocence.
She developed some kind of basket for her sleeves to carry the water without it falling to the ground ( the miracle) .
I have also heard that some goddess froze the river Tiber so she could bring it back as ice chunks...so she was saved.
