Motoring Back as the Sun Starts to go down.

It started to get cold so we decided to go back. S. went to the front of the boat and told me to take us back. He trusted me with his motor! I had to restart it by pulling the cord and then I had to pick speed and steer. This brought back some very precious memories to me of steering my Father's boat at the end of the day. It meant a lot that S. put me in charge.
I could not imagine my father relaxing like this though...he would have been fixing something or cleaning something. I love that S. can just enjoy the experience.

I love this pic...S and Zook relaxing.

You can see his boat as he closes it up for a few days. It's right in the center,  "NIA" . To get to the boat, he has to climb from one boat to the next to get out there. A slip is VERY expensive.
