Did I really need them, probably not. They will be a challenge to walk in for sure. My friend X. bought a pair in brown so I got talked into it a bit.
They were bought in a weekly street fair in Vence. The man has a table filled with boxes with boots and shoes. They are from San Tropez...so there is that.
I talked him down from 80 to 70. The original price was 370 ( on a sticker on the bottom)
The coat, I bought in Rome from a store called Penny Black, a division of Max Mara. It's leather and a stretchy material. I needed a new coat and hoped to find one in Rome. Everything is SO expensive or SO cheap and poor quality...nothing in the middle. I find the same in France....
I would like to find a different belt for this coat. It needs a bit of tightening up. It is one size smaller than my usual.
More of my love of black clothing.
Could I find things in red, I would buy them, but I never see red.
