Balayage in Nice

I made an appointment to get my hair colored today in Nice. I chose this salon as I liked the name..."Identity". I did alot of searching for just the right stylist, but I had to take a chance. I love the idea that I find a location that I have to get to in Nice, someplace I have never been before. You find the parking garage that is closest "Louvre" on the map and then you figure it out from there. It was easy.
I had a great stylist that did color and cut...Jan. He was so happy. They were playing Brazilian music and he had a big smile on his face. He was a tall blonde man. In France, the hair dressers are mostly straight, not gay. He was excellent. I will go back. It cost me 133 euro. In San Francisco, I would have had 2 stylists ( color and cut) and I would have paid almost $450$ US.
Then I walked a few blocks with newly professionally blow dried hair to find a restaurant to have lunch.
It's hard being by yourself. There are many restaurants, but which one would I feel most comfortable walking into and sitting alone in.
The place I ended up in was busy, in the sun and comfortable. The waiter spoke very rapid French , which I understood. Restaurant French is easy.
I had a great Tomate et Mozzarella Salade with Carpaccio with a pesto sauce and a verre of vin rouge.

It was very nice to sit in the sun and have lunch in Nice.
