Lunch at Le Cheiron in Greolieres

I wish I had taken a picture of the outside. It was a big leap for me to open a door and enter this restaurant. Their cafe, outside was across the street, so it was just a door and no ability to see inside. The woman that owned the restaurant could not have been nicer. I ordered the Poele's de St Jacques ( scallops) ...in a saffron sauce. It was very good, served with rice, a small salad and shredded zucchini.
There was something that I could not identify attached to the scallops. It was cooked lobster color and soft. I ate it, but I'm not sure what it was. This village was completely dead and by the time I left this restaurant , it was packed. It had rock walls and was like a cave. An old school French family restaurant.
Note that I could have had "thighs of frog".
