March 4th

After going to the gym where the restaurant was serving Filet Mignon with a mustard sauce, I attempted to find a free short cut back ( instead of paying 1.50 Euro for the highway.)

Thank God for rotaries that you can go around and around till you make a decision.  I manages to find my way back, but it was about 10 minutes longer. I went to the town of Valbonne for the first time. I need to get back there. It's really nice. 

Since it was somewhat sunny, I decided that I would go back to the stream that we went to yesterday to try to reshoot the colored rocks in the water. I could not find it... I drove way past all the way to Grasse, but we saw some beautiful country, olive groves, I found a Chateau and a really nice garden store that I will go back to check out.

I started over and eventually found it after about 45 minutes. 

We walked up the creek bed and the sun was in and out. The dogs were keen to get back into the water. 

I wanted to shoot though and I find that when I try to shoot something, the dogs step in front on me...in this case, they were making the creek cloudy. I tied them both to a tree down stream about 10 feet. They were not happy and eventually spoke up.  

I will have to go back there on my own, but it's kind of isolated. I need some Wellington's as I always end up covered with mud with wet feet.

I saw this beautiful pine cone and the pink amenome growing wild.
