March 16...Day Trip North

I had my dog sitter come and spend time with the dogs while I drove North up to Gourdon. It was a beautiful but scary drive. The roads go way up into the mountains along very deep gorges. There is no real protection from falling over and there are no shoulders. Gourdon has a chateau. It seems as though it is never open. It has a beautiful Italian garden and a Medieval weapons collection.
There was snow melting in the mid day sun.

This is in front of a really pretty Parfum Shoppe in beautiful light.

The town is very quaint. The view is incredible. It was very interesting seeing all of the places I have been going to but from way up above. The landscape is so dramatic.
