Jardin Thuret

Blades everywhere



Blades....there come up first before the lily. I have these all over the place in my yard at home, they spread, but these are so beautiful in the light.


against a massive palm tree....look up, see below. 

Hard to imagine from the picture but this tree is about 3 stories high and as thick as an SUV.

I think this is some kind of OSteospermum, but C. think's it's a type of amenomie. I have never seen anything that pops ot of the ground like this. A dandelion at least has big leaves around it...this is pretty much on it's own. They are all over the lawns here. Some of the colors are unreal. 

Parasol ( Umbrella)  Pines, again...about 3 stories high. These are very indicative of the South of France. I think the pignoli nut comes from the Parasol Pine.  Also called the Stone Pine
