She swim!

We went for a hike this morning down to the river. Kate outdid herself, swimming, way over her head with big sticks. We ran into a nice old man on the way back who had a big brown labrador. I said in French, " she swim".... when I mean to say,  "she went swimming" If I'm not warmed up, I'm hopeless. The man said "Speak English"!. Hell! He was a Brit of some sort . Kate laughed.
