Lunch at Les Muriers ( Mulberry)

This is a local restaurant that is only open for lunch for the people that work in the area. It's on a busy road, not in a village. You can see that the weather is very cloudy. It had snowed a bit and it very cold. I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for awhile...so, today, I waited till 14h. and forged  in.
There were many local people in groups eating, but it was comfortable for me to come in and be seated by the waitress. As is usual for these type of restaurants, there is no menu. The server tells you what the dishes are. I skip the meat dishes and thought the ravioli would be safe. It was some kind of traditional Nicoise dish.
When it arrived, I realized that it was a kind of stew on ravioli. It was very good. I avoided the meat. When I was finished, I asked the waitress what kind of meat it was...my fear was that it was rabbit, but it was beef. I great meal for a cold day.
I thought about my cutlery dilemma but there was no real cutting to be done, so I was OK.
Of course I had a few fumbles including thinking a big huge hulk of a working man was talking to me, when he wasn't....he and his buddies had a nice giggle over that, then he spoke to me in rapid fire French that I did not understand in the least.
Then, I asked where the bathroom was...it was outside somewhere...perhaps they said gauche, but I went droit...and kept going...around the building to the back. No bathroom. I did meet a nice big brown labrador that was of no help.
I went back in to the restaurant and they were giggling at me...the cook, pointed me gauche...interior. It was a kind ribbing, but still.
I seem to be causing laughter everywhere I go.
