Will now try to add pics and writing everyday.
Today, I worked in my very limited garden. My landlady, Mme.NL I will call her...She has one hectare of land to work...( 2.5 acres). In my front yard, which is closed off, there are some long stone beds. She has them planted with roses, lavender and some boring perennials. I tried to get some access, but no go.
Yesterday , I bought a quince plant and two pansies and two square pots.
If the gardeners here saw the shops I go to in Berkeley they would be astounded.
The poor plants here are mean and neglected in the nurseries. My friend C. tells me that right over the border in Italy, the choices are much better. I planted some seeds and a dahlia I had brought with me in the pots.
This is a view of the front yard.I wish I could have those planters, I could do so much.
